Welcome to the Arizona Pinball Players League [APPL]. The APPL is a group of individuals that have a great passion for Pinball. Our players come from all corners of life — all for the love of playing Pinball. Members of the APPL are made up of both novice and highly skilled players. Many of our members have large collections of pinball machines ranging from classic EM’s to the latest dmd games, and some members don’t even own a single pin. Owning a pinball machine is not a prerequisite for joining the APPL – however, enjoying the game and having fun “is”. Founded in 2009, the APPL’s focus is not only tournament driven, but also to facilitate social gatherings and helping identify other players in the Phoenix area & bring them together in the hopes of elevating awareness and the visibility of pinball. League tournaments are typically held once a month at different locations.
The APPL is sanctioned by the International Flipper Pinball Association
(IFPA) and players are awarded World Pinball Player Rankings
(WPPR) points based on their performance in the APPL.
